Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix together sugar, cinnamon, and chopped pecans.
Lightly butter crescent triangles. Sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mix.
Roll and place in nonstick loaf pan. Make 2 layers of 8 rolls each.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Remove from oven and loosen sides with spatula. Cool on wire rack.
Bring all ingredients to a boil.
Remove from heat and add vanilla & pecan halves.
Top loaf with honey mix.
Pro tip: Make topping while loaf bakes, so it’s slightly cooled by the time loaf is done.
